THE LATEST IDOL JUDGING UPDATE

Despite reports that she was out of the running, sources say Jennifer Lopez is close to sealing a deal to be a judge on the new season of American Idol.  Sources say the negotiations are typical, with no diva attitude or drama from Ms. Lopez.  The new Idol judging lineup is expected to be announced next week.

CONAN NAMES HIS NEW SHOW

Conan O'Brien announced the name of his new late-night show--drumroll, please:  "Conan."  He joked that "Oprah" was already taken.  "Conan" will debut on November 8 at 11PM on TBS.

STARS WHO SAID NO TO DANCING WITH THE STARS

The cast for season 11 of Dancing With the Stars was revealed earlier this week, but there are a few celebs who turned offers to dance on the show.  Former Secretary of State Condaleeza Rice said no thanks, as did Sylvester Stallone and Kirstie Alley.    I would have liked to have seen them dance!

THE NEW DANCING WITH THE STARS CAST REVEALED

The cast for the 11th season of Dancing With the Stars was revealed last night on ABC.  It consists of  6 men and 6 women, and I think it's the best line-up the show has had to date.  Here's the list:
