We are currently recruiting interns in the Promotions / Marketing Department. Please email your resume to swray@equitycommunications.net.
1. Internships are unpaid - but through your school/university, it's common practice to receive credits for your time at the station.
2. 70% of our interns are eventually hired part-time in our Promotions/Marketing Department!
3. Please speak to your adviser or Dean's office about how to obtain paperwork for an internship. All schools have requirements, there may be a prerequisite of hours or classes in order to receive school credit.
4. Office hours would be during the week and we'd require that you also attend our broadcasts and events on the weekend. We can work with your school / personal schedule. By being a part of both weekday and weekend events, you'll gain knowledge in a multitude of ways.
Sales Executive
If you live in Atlantic, Cape May or Cumberland County and have some retail sales, outside sales, or business-to-business experience in your background, Equity Communications has a great career opportunity for you! We're looking for a new business pro who is money-motivated and hungry to get ahead! Someone who would like to triple their income in the next 18-24 months! You don't need a lot of radio in your background - but you should understand how to come up with promotion ideas, build relationships, and know how to treat customers right. Equity Communications is home to South Jersey's most popular and listened-to radio stations - and we may have the advertising sales position that's just right for you.
Success in this position requires lots of brain-storming, cold-calling, and in-person presentations, culminating in great client relationships and happy advertisers!
