No one is cooler than Madonna.  The woman knows a thing or two about sticking around.  She has been thru thick and thin with the media over her 25 years in the public eye.  Madge has faced one controversy after another and always comes out on top while never managing to mince words.  If there is one thing we know for sure about Madonna is that she is not afraid to speak her mind. 

Thats why at the moment I'm so aggravated with the Material Mama.  Her marriage to Guy Richie has just officially crumbled.  One potential cause for the split?  The man you see above, NY Yankee b-ball player Alex Rodriguez.  Didn't we all call this scenario months ago when his wife ran for the hills over ARod's supposed "affair of the heart" with Madonna.  I'm mad because she should have just come clean right away.  I kind of can't feel too sorry for her right now.  Madonna is no one's fool, so she shouldn't think we are.  Duh Madge!

Today, I'm busy.  Unusually busy for me.  So today, I resent celebrities for their PERSONAL ASSISTANTS!  I don't like to complain about my endless lists of "to do's".  We all have them.  If I don't COMPLETE all the tasks thats my problem, but I think its no fair for me to bellyache about them especially since some of you have WAY more overwhelming lives than myself (kid, several kids, soccer practice, back to school shopping, caring for elderly parents, yadda yadda). 

I'd love to have someone on hand 24-7 to make appointments for me.  To type up memos, to make phone calls, to pick up some lunch, someone to eat lunch FOR ME which is impossible but sometime's there's not even time for THAT.  To wash my clothes, pick up dry cleaning, to make me a date, to set me up with a life coach that can teach me how to better utilize my time...Yes I know its a full-time job being beautiful and memorizing lines and rehearsing for concerts and picking out fabulous designer wardrobes--these things can take double-digit hours to finish.  But we work long hours too right?  Aren't we just as deserving of ASSISTANCE from ASSISTANTS?  For the millions of dollars these celebs earn they should HAVE to have SOME responsibility.  I'm ranting, but its necessary.  My "to-do" list today is still bottom heavy.  Ug.
