My favorite cable TV show is finally back on the air for another season... Dennis Leary in "Rescue Me". That show is hilarious and just super cool! I wish I was super cool. Once I saw my power bill from last month's heatwaves, I've been sitting in the dark with my Air Conditioning turned off a lot to save money during the crazy record heat this month already! I had a lot of fun being on the air during Red, White, and Boom that we had on 95.1-WAYV last weekend. Lots of cool, fun songs for a hot, fun, holiday weekend :-) Did anyone else encounter all of those crazy bad drivers then, like I did? One of the bad drivers ran right into my car and then drove off over the holiday weekend. That was a unique experience for my family that was in town visiting! I might not have many more family visits for awhile after that! At least Dennis Leary in "Rescue Me" and the Emmy nominations made me smile a lot this week. My favorite actor on "The Big Bang Theory" was nominated, so was Matthew Fox for "Lost", and 2 of my favorite actors from one of the best shows on TV... "Friday Night Lights"! Terry (Jon Locke) from "Lost" was missing from the list and a serious oversight, but otherwise, the Emmy nominations weren't too far off this year.
