NASA Confirms Object That Crashed Through Florida Home Came From Space Station: We told you about an object crashing through the roof of a Florida home, and at the time NASA said they would investigate to decide if it was a piece from a battery pallet that was thrown off the International Space Station in 2021. Well, they’ve made their decision and confirmed yesterday that it was in fact a piece of the space station. The chunk of metal from the battery pallet weighed 1.6-pounds, was four inches tall, and roughly 1.5-pounds wide.
