According to The Blast, the pop star noted in court documents that her “general wealth” isn’t germane to the case, and a jury will be predisposed to hit her with a huge judgment if her fortune is revealed. (For the record, Forbes reports that Perry made $83 million in 2018.) Music producer Dr. Luke and rapper Juicy J, who are also part of the lawsuit, also don’t want their financial picture revealed. In the documents, Perry also noted that she doesn’t want the supposed “witchcraft, paganism, black magic, and Illuminati imagery” of the song to be admitted as evidence either.
